UMD was led by the duo of freshman Samatha Rivard and sophomore Hannah Olson, who were fourth and fifth in 21:29.45 and 21:32.74. Junior Alexandra Rudin was seventh in 21:42.41, freshman Breanna Colbenson was tenth in 21:57.27, and sophomore Erica Seidenkranz placed in 22:23.92. The individual race was expected to be a battle between Agnew and Augustana's Runa Falch, this year's Griak DII winner who set a new course record at the event. Falch finished fourteenth and was the team's third finisher on Saturday. Women's results are HERE.
Yak, who won his third consecutive NSIC XC title, led an Augustana pack that captured to five of the top six places with the only interloper being Sioux Falls' Matt Horan's in third in 25:25.77. Norwegian brother's Tom(second/25:24.23) and Harald(fourth/25:26.16) Karbo, Adam Braun(fifth/25:31.82) and John Klecker(25:31.99) gave the hosts 18 points and the championship trophy.
