Trinidad & Tobago and Nick Willis Fail to Make World Champs Finals

Gopher grad Alena Brooks and her Trinidad and Tobago 4 by 400 relay team failed to qualify for the finals Friday at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow.  Brooks did not run on the relay in the heat. The T&T team finished fifth in the second heat in 3:33.5. T&T story is HERE.

Medtronic TC Mile men's champ Nick Willis also fell short in qualifying for the 1500 finals, placing seventh in the first heat in 3:43.8.  Willis story is HERE. Only one US 1500 runner, Matt Centrowitz made the final. Full results for the 4 by 400 are HERE. For the 1500 HERE.
