After pacing the 5K at the Paris Diamond League Meet on Saturday("It was quite exhilarating pacing Dibaba last night!" Gabriele Anderson said. "Definitely an experience I'll never forget."), Anderson gets back in action Monday night at the Meeting International Sotteville-les-Rouen in France in her event, the 1500. On Saturday, July 13, she'll race that event again at the IAAF World Challenge Meet in Madrid. Her teammate Jamie Cheever is heading over to Europe and will run the steeplechase in the Monaco IAAF Diamond League Meet on July 19.
Most of the Minnesota runners are using places in or around Leuven, Belgium as their base for traveling to meets in Europe. Hassan Mead, Heather Kampf, and Elizabeth Yetzer are already there, Cheever will be joining them. Kampf could run at Liege, Heusden, or Kortrijk prior to her 800 meter race in Lignano. More on the various adventures of the former Gophers' travelling road show as they become available.
