Remembering Roy Griak

The author of the Griak story is Ken Popejoy, who had a distinguished running career, as illustrated in the old, faded b&w photo below.  It's from a mile race in 1973 at the LA Coliseum.

The guy in the Bowling Green uniform is Dave Wottle, 1972
Olympic champion at 800 meters.  The guy in front is Popejoy.
