Cara Donohue Wins NIRCA Women's Title

University of Minnesota grad student Cara Donohoe won the woman's A race 6K at the NIRCA Championships in East Lansing, Michigan on Saturday in  22:24.8.  Full results are HERE. The University of Minnesota women's team finished seventh.  Full team results are HERE.

The U of MN men's team was fifth in the A race(full team scores HERE).  Peter Hoganson was the top finisher for the men in seventh for the 8K course in 26:05.2(individual results are HERE.)  Results for all the races are HERE.  The event concludes on Sunday with an Open 5K.

CORRECTION: In an earlier version I said she was defending her title. Donohoe corrected that error: "It was an exciting race.  Last year I actually came in second place, so it was fun to win this year!"
