Goucher 6th at Rock 'n' Roll Philly Half; Team USA MN Runners in the Top Twenty in Providence at US 5K Roads Champs

Kara Goucher said going into the Philly Half Marathon that she was aiming for a time around 71 minutes and that she was happy to be back racing.  She finished sixth Sunday morning in the  "Set the goal of 71-72 so can't complain with 71:39. It is a dream come true to be healthy and racing." she wrote on Twitter. Top Ten men and women elite results are HERE(scroll down)

Team USA Minnesota's Jon Peterson, Eric Finan and Meghan Peyton all finished in the top 20 at the CVS 5K/USARC 5k Champs in Providence Rhode Island. Peyton was seventeenth in the woman's race in 16:19. 3.Finan placed eleventh in the men's race in 14:14, and Peterson was twelfth in 14:16. Results are HERE.
