News: Finnerty/Spokane; Alter High School Rules; Firehouse 15K

Two runners broke four at the Spokane Summer Games on Saturday night with Rob Finnerty in third in 4:02.38.  Recap of the mile race is HERE

Editorial recommending that State High School Sports Associations need to change their rules HERE The argument being that the current weath of very talented high schoolers are being panalized for being competitive with college athletes and taking the opportunity to race against them to be able to run better times.  Iowa used as an example where two of the State's outstanding female athletes have been ruled ineligible because they violated the current standards.
