Pre Meet, Day 2

Garrett Heath was the top finishing Minnesotan at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene on Saturday.  Heath finished fifth in the men's mile, heat 1 in 3:53.76.  Will Leer was 14th in the Bowerman Mile in 3:56.72.  Hassan Mead ran 13:19.57 to take tenth in the 5K. Jamie Cheever did not finish the steeplechase, while Team USA Minnesota's Heather Kampf was a pacer in the women's 2-Mile.
