MSU Mankato and U-Mary Win NSIC Team Championships

MSU Mankato men's team
Jerrell Hancock won both sprints and helped MSU Mankato win the 4 by 100 relay and place second in the 4 by 400 relay to propel the MSU Mankato men's team to its fifth NSIC championship in six years.  Hancock's teammate Chris Reed added the discus throw title to his wins in the shot and hammer on Friday.

U-Mary women's team
Sprinter Kathryn Stewart won both sprints and anchored U-Mary's champion 4 by 100 relay team and the third leg on their triumphant 4 by 400 relay squad to help the Marauders claim their third straight NSIC team championship.  Women's team runner-up UMD's Samantha Rivard added the 5K title(17:00.39) to her Friday victory in the 10K and finished third in the 1500(4:31.77).  The only distance race she didn't run was the 3K steeplechase.
