St Olaf's Noelle Olson Named USTFCCCA DIII Female Athlete of the Week; St. Olaf Invitational Results

St Olaf freshman Noelle Olson is off to a historic start to her collegiate career. On Saturday she won the St. Olaf Invitational 6K in 21:34.4 in her first race at the distance, smashing by 14 seconds the existing course record set in 2009.  The field she beat, also by 14 seconds, included three ranked teams from Division III and 16th ranked  Minnesota-Duluth of Division II. Her time is the third-fastest 6K time in program history, and follows her school-record 4K (14:26) and a 5K (17:38) ranked second in program history. Her performances earned her this week's USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week honors. Full St. Olaf Invitational women's results are HERE. Men's results are HERE. Men's race photos are HERE.
