The Minnesota men’s track team finished the 2013 NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships by adding two more All Americans and bringing their total AA honors for the Championships to eleven. John Simons earned a Second Team All American designation with a tenth-place finish(3:54.25) in the 1500 on Saturday. Oladipo Fagbemi earned Honorable Mention All-America status in the triple jump by finishing 21st(50'6.25"/15.40m).
Simons picked up his first outdoor All-America certificate and the second All America award of the his career (2013 indoor mile). It was Fagbemi's first time as an All American.
