Early Results: Bloomington Jefferson's Matt Rosen Wins Emerging Elite 800 at NBON

Bloomington Jefferson junior Matt Rosen, who won this year's Class AA 800 title won the Emerging Elite 800 at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals on Sunday in Greenboro, NC in 1:53.28.  The race was run in three heats.  Rosen won the final heat.  Results of the 800 are HERE.

The events at NBON are split between Championship finals and Emerging Elite finals.  The Championship events have a better qualifying mark--for example, in the 800 the Championship qualifier is 1:53.0, while the Emerging Elite's standard is 1:54.2. Rosen missed the Championship standard by .02.
