Amanda Smock hop, step, and jumped to another national championship in the triple jump on Sunday in the USATF Indoor Championships in New Mexico.  Smock dominated the competition, as any of her six jumps would have won the competition.  She went the furthest on her fifth jump, sailing 44' 9.5" to seal the win.

Smock was defending champion in the event, and was runner-up in 2011. She is the second athlete with Minnesota ties to win a 2013 USATF Indoor title, as Minnetonka High standout Will Leer won the men's 3K on Saturday and then doubled back on Sunday to win his second national title, this time in the mile in 3:58.79. Mile results are HERE. Triple jump results are HERE. AP story on Leer is HERE.
