NSIC 2103 Multi Event Champs

UMD  sophomore Chanel Miller wins NSIC pentathlon title Sunday in Mankato, breaking the school record with 3,776 points.  Duluth News Tribune report HERE. Full results are HERE.

Minnesota State’s Nathan Hancock (So., Independence, Mo.) recorded a school record en route to capturing the men's NSIC heptathlon championship. Hancock’s 5,301 is the third-best mark by a Division II athlete this season and bested his previous automatic qualifying mark of 5,165 points. At the multi championship, Hancock won the long jump with a leap of 6.91-meters and the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:43.37. Hancock also finished in third-place in the pole vault with a vault of 13-07.25, high jump with a mark of 1.99-meters and the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.14. This marks the second time that Hancock has cleared the automatic qualifying standard of 5,158 points. Full results are HERE.
