Garrett Heath Miles 3:55.24 at Millrose
Winona native Garrett Heath clocked a PR of 3:55.24 with his third-place finish in the NYRR Wanamaker Mile at Saturday's Millrose Games in New York City.
The Stanford grad was topped only by 2011 IAAF World Championships 1500m bronze medalist Matthew Centrowitz, who set a new track record for the NYC Armory with the mark, and runner-up Miles Batty of BYU, who set a collegiate record with his 3:54.54.
Heath was timed at 3:39.71 at the 1500m mark of the race, just off his 3:39.25 PR at the distance set in Doha, Qatar in 2010.
