This will be a big weekend for the trail running and ultra-marathoning community. There are three national championships on tap; the USA 15k Trail Championship in Spokane, the USA 50 Mile Trail Championship at the White River 50 Mile Endurance Run in Enumclaw, Washington, and the 2010 USA 100 Mile Trail Championship at the Burning River 100 Mile Endurance Run in Ohio. That's more than 150 miles of championship racing in one weekend!
DtB's weekly prediction contest will look to ultrarunning legend Scott Jurek for this week's question. The northern Minnesota native will compete at the USA 50 Mile Trail run near his current home of Seattle, Washington.
Scott Jurek is probably best known for his amazing run of seven consecutive victories at the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. Jurek has also won the Hardrock Hundred, Badwater (twice) and Spartathlon (three times). His results at the White River 50 Mile/USA Championships include a fourth place in 2009 (7:13), fifth place in 2003 (7:13), and fifth place in 2002 (7:16).

My answer: No
The fantasy contest question from last week was: Will three or more women break 17:00 minutes at the Lumberjack Days 5K on Saturday? The answer was no. Laura Edlund finished first in 17:43. Seventeen contestants answered correctly and Lori Anne Peterson is now in second place by herself, one point behind leaders Toby Hatlevig and Jesse Schoen
