University of Minnesota All-American Gabriele Anderson was featured in THIS story by the Star-Tribune's Rachel Blount.Anderson, a sixth-year senior from Perham, finished second in Saturday's NCAA Division I women's 1500m, just one year after undergoing radiation treatment for cancer.
The finish capped a glorious comeback season in which Anderson set a school record and only narrowly missed winning a Big Ten title.
Anderson will compete next weekend in Des Moines at the USA Championships.
