Minnesota Clash Set for Drake Women's 1500

The three top women's milers in Minnesota -- Olympian Carrie Tollefson, the rejuvenated Jenelle Deatherage, and post-collegiate phenom Emily Brown -- are scheduled to compete against one-another over 1500 meters at the Drake Relays on April 26.

The Des Moines Register, in THIS story, highlights Tollefson's entry in the event, but also places Brown (incorrectly) and 2007 Drake champion Deatherage in the 1500m field as well.

THE CORRECTION ... Team USA Minnesota coach Dennis Barker informs us the Des Moines Register has the story wrong. While Team USA Minnesota's Tollefson and Deatherage will race the 1500 at Drake, Team USA Minnesota's Emily Brown will compete in the steeplechase there.
