MSHSL State Meet Underway!

The first starting gun is set to fire shortly at the MSHSL State Track & Field Championships at Hamline University's Klas Field in St. Paul. Down the Backstretch will post re-caps of all of the day's Class AA and Class A action as soon as each respective session ends.

Minutes before the start of the 3200 meter runs that open today's Class AA competition, the temperature is 58 degrees and there's a 15 mile per hour wind blowing from the west-northwest -- up the backstretch, that is.

Expect to find our Friday Class AA coverage posted here at 1:45 p.m.

We should have our Class AA coverage on-line by 7:00 p.m.

Remember, we'll be broadcasting live during Saturday morning's Class AA session. Event-by-event "WDTB Ticker" coverage begins at 8:45 a.m. We hope to have video from every Class AA running event posted for viewing starting at 2:00 p.m.

For the Class A session on Saturday evening, we'll post a re-cap at 7:00 p.m.
